Title: ●Provisions Pertaining to U.S. Investments in Certain National Security Technologies and Products in Countries of Concern 
Abstract:

The Executive Order of August 9, 2023, "Addressing United States Investments in Certain National Security Technologies and Products in Countries of Concern" (the Order), directs the Secretary of the Treasury (the Secretary) to issue regulations that identify categories of transactions involving technologies and products that may contribute to the threat to the national security of the United States identified under the Order and require United States persons to notify the Department of the Treasury (the Treasury Department) of each such transaction; and identify categories of transactions involving technologies and products that pose a particularly acute national security threat to the United States and prohibit United States persons from engaging in such transactions.
