Title: Proposal to Amend TTB Regulations to Address Labeling of Malt Beverages With Less Than 0.5% Alcohol by Volume | |
Abstract:
The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) intends to propose amendments to part 7 of the TTB regulations in response to a petition from an industry association regarding the labeling of malt beverage with less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. The rulemaking would, among other things, propose updates to the regulations regarding the labeling of such products, including removing limitations on using class and type designations, such as ale and porter, and solicit comments. |
