Title: EDGAR Revisions(Rulemaking Resulting From a Section 610 Review)
Abstract:

The Education Department General Administrative Regulations (EDGAR) will be revised to make a variety of updates and revisions, including to update and clarify evidence-related components, to clarify how the Department makes determinations related to continuation awards under competitive grant programs, and to expand flexibility for grantees by clarifying that, where not prohibited by law or the terms and conditions of the grant award, subgranting authority rests with States. In addition, the Department plans to amend these regulations where they are outdated in order to be consistent with current law.
