Title: Test Procedure for Air Compressors
Abstract:

The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) is required to review its test procedures for air compressors once every 7 years under the Energy Policy and Conservation Act (EPCA), as amended. In this rulemaking, DOE has proposed to amend the test procedure for compressors to correct an error as well as amend the definition of air compressor to include a minor clarification and revise a typographical error. Once completed, this rulemaking will fulfill DOE’s statutory obligation to either propose amended test procedures for this product or determine that the existing test procedures do not need to be amended.
