Title: ●Equipment, Systems, and Network Information Security Protection 
Abstract:

This proposed rule would add new airworthiness regulations to standardize the criteria for addressing cybersecurity and system security threats to aircraft, engine control, and propeller systems. With this action, the FAA seeks to address industry recommendations, harmonize with international standards, and incorporate commonly issued special conditions. The intended effect of this proposed action is to improve aviation safety and reduce certification costs by introducing comprehensive and consistent cybersecurity and system security requirements for new and changed products.
