Title: Statewide and Nonmetropolitan and Metropolitan Transportation Planning | |
Abstract:
This joint rulemaking would amend the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Federal Transit Administration (FTA) regulations for Statewide and Nonmetropolitan and Metropolitan Transportation Planning and Programming at 23 CFR part 450. This rulemaking would: implement relevant requirements of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (Pub. L. 117-58, also known as the "Bipartisan Infrastructure Law"); consider allowing additional flexibility in the development and content of the Transportation Improvement Program/Statewide Transportation Improvement Program (TIP/STIP); and consider other revisions, including updates to the planning factors and plan requirements and changes to improve the transportation planning process. |
