Title: Seatback Safety Standards 
Abstract:

Pursuant to a statutory mandate in the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, this notice seeks public comment on whether and how to update Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 207, Seating Systems. This standard establishes requirements for seats, their attachment assemblies, and their installation to minimize the possibility of their failure by forces acting on them as a result of vehicle impact.
