Title: Home Visits in Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers During COVID-19 National Emergency | |
Abstract:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is revising its regulations that govern the VA’s Program of Comprehensive Assistance for Family Caregivers (PCAFC) to relax the requirement for in-person home visits beyond the National Emergency related to Coronavirus Disease-2019 (the COVID-19 National Emergency) to encompass COVID-19 public health related emergencies declared by a Federal, State, and local authority. This change is required to support the safety and well-being of veterans, caregivers, and VA clinical staff during such COVID-19 related emergencies. |
