Abstract:

VA proposes to amend its regulations governing Servicemembers’ Group Life Insurance (SGLI), Family SGLI (FSGLI), and Veterans' Group Life Insurance (VGLI) to allow an alternate applicant to apply for an Accelerated Benefit on the insured member or former member’s behalf.
