On March 11, 2022, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC or Commission) issued an Advance Notice of Proposed Rulemaking seeking public comment about a proposed rule to address deceptive or unfair marketing using earnings claims. The comment period closed on May 10, 2022. Staff is reviewing the public comments.
