Title: Controlled Unclassified Information [NRC-2019-0060] 
Abstract:

This rulemaking would amend the NRC's regulations to revise certain terminology in connection with the NRC’s transition to the government-wide Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) program, per the requirements of Executive Order 13556 and 32 CFR part 2002. The NRC’s CUI rule would remove from the regulations references to the "Sensitive Unclassified Non-Safeguards Information” program that governs the NRC’s handling of sensitive unclassified information. The rule does not make any changes to the classification of unclassified information possessed by licensees or the requirements for handling/protecting that information.
