Abstract:
TO OBTAIN A BENEFIT UNDER SECTION 2 OF THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT, AS THE SPOUSE OF A EMPLOYEE ANNUITANT OR PENSIONER OR AS THE WIDOW OR WIDOWER OF A DECEASED EMPLOYEE, ANNUITANT OR PENSIONER, THE APPLICANT MUST SUBMIT PROOF OF MARRIAGE TO SUCH INDIVIDUAL. THE STATEMENTS WILL OBTAIN INFORMATION SUPPORTING CLAIMED COMMON-LAW MARRIAGE.
