Abstract:
PLANT VARIETY PROTECTION ACT PROVIDES FOR ISSUANCE OF CERTIFICATES OF PROTECTION ON NOVEL VARIETIES OF SEED-REPRODUCED CROPS. APPLICATION, WITH ATTACHMENTS IS USED BY DEVELOPERS TO APPLY FOR PROTECTION AND IS THE BASIS FOR DETERMINATION BY THE PVPO AS TO WHETHER A NOVEL VARIETY EXISTS AND IS ENTITLED TO PROTECTION.
