This collection is approved pursuant to the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1981 for use through November 30, 1986 under OMB Control Number 2115-0111 subject to the condition that the agency print the OMB Control Number and expiration date on a phamplet which explains their approval program. It is understood that this phamplet is presently under development for general distribution, and that this will satisfy the requirement of 5 CFR Part 1320.4(a).It is necessary that the phamplet be printed and distributed in order to satisfy this condition

46 USC 7315, THIS REQUIREMENTS ENSURES THAT CERTAIN TRAINING SCHOOLS APPLY TO THE COAST GUARD FOR APPROVAL OF THE CURRICULA AND FACULTY. THIS REQUIREMENT IS TO ENSURE A MINIMUM LEVEL OF TRAINING IN LIEU OF A EXAMINATION OR SEA EXPERIENCE.
