Abstract:
EACH WATERFRONT FACILITY THAT INTENDS TO BECOME A TERMINAL FOR TRANSFERRING BULK OIL TO OR FROM VESSELS MUST NOTIFY THE COAST GUARD BY LETTER OF THIS INTENTION. THE COAST GUARD WILL CONDUCT INSPECTIONS TO ENSURE COMPLIANCE WITH POLLUTION PREVENTION REGULATIONS (33 CFR 154.156).
