Abstract:
SECTION 522 OF THE ACT REQUIRES THAT A FEDERAL LANDS PROGRAM BE ESTABLISHED TO GOVERN SURFACE COAL MINING AND RECLAMATION OPERATIONS O FEDERAL LANDS. THE INFORMATION REQUESTED IS NEEDED TO ASSIST THE REGULATORY AUTHORITY IN DETERMINING COMPLIANCE WITH THE REQUIREMENTS O THE FEDERAL LANDS PROGRAM.
