Abstract:
SECTION 76.601 REQUIRES CABLE SYSTEMS TO MAINTAIN A CURRENT LISTING OF CABLE TELEVISION CHANNELS WHICH IT DELIVERS TO ITS SUBSCRIBERS. IT AL REQUIRES SYSTEM WITH OVER 1,000 SUBSCRIBERS TO CONDUCT SEMIANNUAL PROO OF PERFORMANCE TESTS AND TRIENNAL PROOF OF PERFORMANCE TESTS FOR COLOR TESTING. DATA USED BY FCC STAFF AND FRANCHISE AUTHORITIES TO ENSURE THAT ACCEPTABLE SIGNAL IS BEING PROVIDED BY CABLE SUBSCRIBERS.
