Abstract:
UNDER SECTION 3(I) OF THE RAILROAD RETIREMENT ACT (RRA), THE BOARD MAY DEEM ADDITIONAL MONTHS OF SERVICE IN SOME CASES WHERE AN EMPLOYEE DOES NOT ACTUALLY WORK IN EVERY MONTH OF THE YEAR. THE COLLECTION OBTAINS NEEDED SERVICE AND COMPENSATION INFORMATION FROM RAILROAD EMPLOYERS FO DETERMINING IF AN EMPLOYEE MAY BE CREDITED WITH ADDITIONAL DEEMED MONT OF RAILROAD SERVICE.
