Abstract:
THE HELIUM ACT (P.L. 86-777) (50 U.S.C 167A ET SEQ.) REQUIRES FEDERAL AGENCIES TO PROCURE HELIUM FROM THE BUREAU OF MINES, DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR. THE NEW SUBPART PROVIDES AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF GUIDANCE ON THE SUBJECT, INCLUDING A REQUIREMENT THAT OFFERORS RESPONDING TO CONTRACT SOLICITATIONS PROVIDE INFORMATION AS TO THEIR FORECAST OF HELIUM REQUIRED FOR PERFORMANCE OF THE
