THESE VOLUNTARY CUSTOMER SURVEYS WILL BE USED TO IMPLEMENT E.O. 12862 BY OBTAINING QUANTITATIVE AND QUALITATIVE CUSTOMER DATA ACROSS IRS, PRIMARILY IN THESE AREAS: EVALUATIVE CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS, ADDITIONAL STUDIES INDICATED BY THE CUSTOMER SATIFACTION SURVEY, STUDIES TO VALIDATE/REFINE PRODUCT CHANGES RESULTING FROM THE IRS TRANSITION STRATEGY, FUNCTIONAL CUSTOMER DATA REQUIREMENTS.

The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
