Abstract:
The Asbestos NESHAP applies to: demolition and renovation of facilities; the disposal of asbestos waste; asbestos milling, manufacturing and fabricating; the use of asbestos on roadways; asbestos waste conversion facilities; and the use of asbestos insulation and sprayed-on material. In the Administrator's judgment, asbestos emissions from the identified activities cause or contribute to air pollution that may reasonably be anticipated to endanger public health or welfare.
