Terms of Clearance:
Upon resubmission of this ICR, DOL will include an update on the progress of a consolidated form, and states' use of it. Currently , only one state has adopted the consolidated form. DOL has agreed to continue dialogue with states on this (see DOL memo to OMB dated 8/13/03), and strongly encourage the form's adoption. OMB would like a detailed update on DOL's progress working with the states, and would like to see the adoption of a consolidated form made a reality in more states.

Abstract:
The Migrant and Seasonal Agricultural Worker Protection Act provides that no individual may perform farm labor contracting activities without a certificate of registration. Form WH-530 is the application form which provides that Department of Labor with the information necessary to issue certificates specifying the farm labor contracting activities authorized.
