Short Statement: Because changes are made to move non-agricultural leasing provisions to more specific subparts, some of the regulatory citations have changed. In addition, a few new information collections have been added to allow BIA to exercise its oversight role in ensuring the trust property is protected, while affording landowners greater control over Indian land. These new requirements result in an annual burden increase of 2,910 hours.
