Abstract:
The collection of information requirements specified in this request apply to general working conditions in shipyard employment (29 CFR part 1915, subpart F). The specific collection of information requirements include: employers obtaining information, Utilities (§ 1915.83); employers providing information, Sanitation (§ 1915.88); marking requirements, Medical services and first aid, (§ 1915.87); developing written procedures, information exchange, tagging, and training, Control of hazardous energy, § 1915.89.

OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase of 1,731 hours, from 99,645 to 101,376 hours. The increase in hours is a result of updated data showing an increase in the number of affected establishments covered by the standard from 2,725 to 2,759.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
