Abstract:
The information requested is used by the Governments contracting officers and other acquisition personnel, including technical and legal staffs to determine contractors technical and management progress and controls of the firms holding public contracts to determine if the firms are making appropriate progress in work agreed to and are otherwise performing in the Governments best interest.

No program changes occurred, however the burden was adjusted to reflect an increase in the number of respondents within DHS for Fiscal Year 2014. The burden estimates are based upon definitive contract award data reported by DHS and its Components to the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) for Fiscal Year 2014.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
