Short Statement: The total burden for this revised information collection submission has decreased by 123 hours from the last approved submission. The decrease in burden is due solely to program changes. Specifically, FRA is discontinuing all the previously approved Safety Appliance Guidance Checklist forms (Forms FRA F 6180.4(a-q) with their total burden of 244 hours and replacing them with new Safety Appliance Guidance Checklist forms (Forms FRA F 6180.161(a-k). The current OMB inventory displays a total burden of 244 hours, while the present submission exhibits a burden total of 121 hours. Hence, there is a decrease in burden of 123 hours. There is no change in burden cost to respondents from the last approved submission.
