Abstract:
In order to work continuously to ensure that our programs are effective and meet our customers' needs, the Department of the Interior seeks to obtain OMB approval of a generic clearance to collect qualitative feedback on our service delivery. By qualitative feedback we mean information that provides useful insights on perceptions and opinions, but are not statistical surveys that yield quantitative results that can be generalized to the population of study.

Short Statement:
During 2015 - 2018 the actual number of responses (as of early July) was 93,973 and the burden hours were 10,537. This submission will bring the number of responses and burden hours into alignment with actual usage compared to the numbers contained in the previous renewal. We also included an additional increase to account for the increased usage during the last cycle as the bureaus and offices become more aware of the availability of the Fast Track process. This new request of 125,000 responses and 28,605 will help Interior to avoid bumping up against the ceiling late into the next renewal cycle.
Annual Cost to Federal Government:
$197,666
