Short Statement: The overall time burden has decreased due to CBP compartmentalizing the different modes of biometric collections and the differences in times to collect each type. Previously CBP combined and utilized the largest time per response for the whole. Also CBP has added biometric collections from vehicles as a modality which added 300,000 respondents with zero time burden as the collection will not impose any burden on the public.
