Short Statement: Rule 17d-1 has a current annual burden of 3,542 hours. The hour burden associated with rule 17d-1 has increased by a total of 770 hours to a total of 3,542 hours since our last analysis. The increase in estimated total annual burden hours associated with the rule is due to an increase in the number of funds that filed applications for exemption under rule 17d-1. The estimated cost burden of $1,676,358 has increased to $2,142,013. This increase in cost burden is due to an increase in the number of funds that filed applications for exemptions under rule 17d-1.
