The purpose of this standard and its information collection requirements is to provide protection for workers from the adverse health effects associated with occupational exposure to inorganic arsenic.

OSHA is requesting an adjustment increase in burden of 32 hours, from 10,398 hours to 10,430. The increase in burden is due to a pasr calculation error and a change in rounding. The burden hours and cost are not rounded until all numbers are summed up and totaled. The number of workers being monitored and receiving medical exams remains the same. The total capital cost remains the same $1,120,896.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
