Short Statement: Rule 17d-1 has a current annual burden of 3,542 hours. The hour burden associated with rule 17d-1 has decreased by a total of 317 hours to a total of 3,225 hours since our last analysis. The estimated cost burden of $2,142,013 has increased by $141,287 to an external cost burden of $2,283,300. These estimates reflect changes in the number of affected entities, as well as in the estimated hourly burden and the external cost associated with the information collection requirements. These changes also reflect the staff’s determination to revise the manner in which it calculates these estimates.
