Short Statement: This Revision includes changes previously approved in January 2023 (Emergency Revision), and these changes will be continued. This Revision also includes new changes to 31 forms that increase response burden by one minute per form/response. The changes to the Gender Identify and Sex at Birth questions will be phased in during 2023-2024. Finally, this Revision includes a substantial reduction in burden cost. Per HHS guidance the information presented in table SSA.12-B has been zeroed out in ROCIS entries for burden cost. The revised estimate for burden cost is based on the information presented in SSA.13.
