Abstract:
This request concerns information collection requirements related to the use of Government sources of supply by contractors. DFARS clause 252.251-7000 requires contractors to provide certain documentation with Federal Supply Schedule orders to verify their authorization to purchase from Government supply sources.

The change in burden is a result of the following: (1) the number of contract awards that included DFARS clause 252.251-7000 and the number of unique business entities that are being awarded those contracts increased since 2020; and (2) the current OPM GS hourly rates for calendar year 2023 to calculate the cost per hour have increased from the 2020 rates.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
