Abstract:
The Report and Order in the Matter of Examination of Current Policy Concerning the Treatment of Confidential Information Submitted to the Commission, GC Docket No. 96-55, required that (a) parties entering into a protective order keep a log of those who have access to the confidential materials and make the log available to the submitter of the confidential materials, and (b) there is a showing necessary to support a request for confidentiality.

On behalf of this Federal agency, I certify that the collection of information encompassed by this request complies with 5 CFR 1320.9 and the related provisions of 5 CFR 1320.8(b)(3).
The following is a summary of the topics, regarding the proposed collection of information, that the certification covers:
