Short Statement: The changes in burden are adjustments associated with the number of respondents, changes in wages, and the number of marketing and communication materials that MA organizations and Part D sponsors upload into the HPMS. CMS performed a thorough review of all the materials, which resulted in a decrease from 47,639 to 45,284 items and decrease in cost from $1,048,560 to 1,047,366 from prior submission. The decrease is primarily due to a reduced number of respondents. These changes resulted in a decrease in overall burden hours.
